My surprise Baby Shower at Marriott Hotel!

Baby shower is a means to celebrate the upcoming birth of a baby, by showering the expectant mother with gifts. It sounds fun but it never came to my mind to throw a baby shower since I was more focused on organizing my baby's first month bday banquet. However, I feel blessed to have a bunch of crazy but thoughtful girls, who has taken a time out from their busy schedules just to sneakily organize a surprise baby shower for me at Marriott Hotel. I was absolutely clueless about this baby shower and was soo overwhelmed by their efforts to make this day special.

They have showered me with baby gifts, arranged a table full of yummy snacks,

and they have also beautifully decorated the hotel room with pink flower balloons,

It was a small, intimate, fun baby shower. I must say that these girls have not only showered me with baby gifts but also spoilt and pampered me that night.. although I was absolutely paranoid at the beginning thinking, what's going on?? why is everyone bugging me to go shopping and chaperone little lai and krishen? im heavily pregnant, hormonal and miserable! and why is my soon to be hubby all of a sudden agreed to take me to a salon to get waxed?? i thought he loved my hairy self? lool..aahh the whining continues lool..

How bad did i feel after walking through the hotel bedroom door and getting shockingly surprised by everyone?! Blimey, I still can't believe I was absolutely clueless lool..

As if surprising me wasn't enough, they've also arranged a number of activities we could do whilst in the hotel. Our afternoon started by enjoying the spa facilities at the hotel, I couldn't go to the steam room or sauna because I'm heavily pregnant but I've certainly made the most of the jacuzzi. One of the girls have also funded my waxing treatment, I surely needed it since being pregnant meant I can't reach certain areas of my body lool..

soo after a relaxing time at the spa, I was treated to a lovely dinner at this trendy chinese karaoke restaurant. Food was brilliant and we sang our hearts out, nope there was no alcohol involved! I should have taken more pictures but hey i was busy just having fun with the ladies.

After dinner, we went back to the hotel and I enjoyed a nice little foot massage from one of the girls-- aahh bliss! Then it was time to open the lovely baby shower gifts, yayy!!

Aaawww.. The highlight of the evening was the baby shower games, it was hilarious! Altogether, a fun night filled with laughter and giggles!

The next day, I was ushered by the girls to a yummy all you can eat breakfast buffet. Here is the vid-->>


Once again, I'd like to thank the girls for all your efforts and for all the lovely gifts you've given me. This was definitely a special day to remember and baby Mia will certainly know that her aunties love her very much even before her birth.
